The Centre for Digital Advancement (CDA) will be a research and innovation hub that will explore the potential of digital technologies to bring about positive societal and economic transformations. It will conduct research to understand the use or the lack of use of digital technologies by various strata of the society. The Centre aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, students, and policymakers from across disciplines to create impactful solutions that provide more access and opportunities to more people through the use of technology. The Centre’s mission is to study and leverage digital technology for the benefit of all. The first project they will undertake is a national survey on the digital ability of the people to create an India Digital Literacy Index.
